What are the Belgrade engineering days?
What are the Belgrade engineering days? Belgrade Days of engineers, a project organized by the local group of the Board of european students of technology, BEST Belgrade, organized for the 18th time in a row, is the largest student engineering competition. Through the educational part of the project, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Panel Discussion, which is being held for the first time this year. The competitive part of the project consists of two categories- Case Study and Team Design, which allows you to apply the knowledge gained at university and come up with solutions through teamwork.
What is Case study?
If you choose this category, you will have the opportunity to solve a technical-managerial problem together with your team that will be assigned by one of the leading companies in the region. Through teamwork, you will demonstrate your knowledge of the problem, your critical thinking, as well as your originality and knowledge.
What is Team Design?
If you choose to compete in Team Design competition, you will have the opportunity to combine your team’s knowledge and creativity to come up with completely new technological solutions or to upgrade the existing ones. Leading regional companies will present a problem, and the task for the competitors will be to design a device with predefined materials and in a set time period, so that the device meets the established criteria.
What’s the competition like?
Teams will have a set time to solve the given problem on the day of the competition. After the time expires, the teams will present their solutions in front of an expert jury, and maybe you and your team will take home the prize!
● Is prior knowledge required to participate in the competition?
It is not necessary. Only creativity and motivation!
● Is it necessary to leave your CV?
Yes, it is necessary to leave your CV when submitting your application. After the project, all CVs will be forwarded to the sponsoring companies.
Who can enter the competition?
All students of STEM faculties of the University of Belgrade can apply. Current or former members of the Association of Technical Students of Europe - Belgrade (BEST Belgrade) cannot apply for the competition.

The Belgrade Days of Engineers stand out because they combine managerial and engineering skills. In addition to developing the above-mentioned skills, you will improve your knowledge and ability to work in a team. You will learn how to analyze a problem, solve it based on the data you have and present it all in the best possible way!
